The Minister of Justice and Human Rights, Felix Cheroruled on the communiqué from Peru Libre where urges President Pedro Castillo to renounce his partisan militancy or the corresponding actions would be taken. “If Vladimir Cerrón considers, according to his directive-political council, that the President of the Republic should not be there (in Peru Libre), I believe that the President of the Republic, knowing his way of acting, will immediately present his letter of resignation because he doesn’t need to be kicked out of the game”he told Successful.
When asked about the rupture of the pencil party with the head of state, the head of the Minjus considered that this does not exist as such, since the political organization has not perceived the presence of the leader in Executive decisions.

“Vladimir Cerrón had been participating as president of the Peru Libre party, but I can assure you something: since I have been in the Executive, I have not seen or evidenced that Mr. Vladimir Cerrón has issued a directive to the president to carry out this or that act,” he said.
Peru Libre asks Pedro Castillo to resign from his militancy
The secretary general of Peru Libre, Vladimir Cerronshared a statement on his Twitter account where The President of the Republic, Pedro Castillo, is asked to renounce his partisan militancy.
According to the message shared by social networks, the decision would have been made unanimously by the party, the political commission and the ruling party, considering that the behavior of the head of state would have gone against the statutes of the group.
