The disagreement of politics with the citizen is a deformity of recent times. The people do not feel expressed in whom no one elected. Whoever is the embryo of a dome cannot understand what moves in the entrails. For those who respond to the study curriculum of the heart, they only care about being well with the leader. Venezuela enjoyed an extraordinary political experience, born from below. Rómulo Betancourt built a party that resembled the Venezuelan one. He was able to understand that the malarial man, with his navel attached to his fate, deserved to be the protagonist of our story. A vision of a country that he knew how to interpret like no one else. Rafael Caldera understood that there was the possibility of counteracting that ideological essence, with Christian humanism. For the highly respected jurist it was a colossal task to achieve an important space before the strength of a Democratic Action, planted in the national soul, but gradually he achieved his goal. He freehand he forged an alternative that became strong to balance the charges. He had to put off hours of study to travel through a country that he began to turn green with that atomic intelligence. Gustavo Machado was the irreverent red rooster that was an illusion. True to its history, the PCV delved into the working-class roots. In the humble knife that cut the sole of the espadrilles he found a handle to externalize ideas, it was not easy to represent a challenging doctrine before a conservative society. His thought was inspired by the workers of the countryside and the city. His essence dug deep into the copious tears of injustice. URD was the gifts of the great tribune. Jóvito Villalba looked like a lofty Roman senator, gargling with a verb stuffed with genius, his prestige made him gigantic before the people. What characterized these dissimilar thoughts?
Undoubtedly a loyalty to the principles, a relentless dedication to an ideal that yearned for a just Venezuela. Their lives were examples of righteousness. The gifts of a policy conceived with greatness. What we see now is the cunning attack. Betrayal as an indelible stamp of a wrong way of being an interpreter of the group. The contemporary distortion makes the citizen see the politician as a liar. A devious character who is setting traps. The curriculum of many current leaders is that of those who have made politics the business of their lives. Merchants of dreams, beings born without memory or exemplary trajectory. To that hell we descended, a bitter sorrow. Fortunately, there are some reasons to believe that we can change.
