The Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB) remains active serving the 23 sectors of Las Tejerías, Aragua state, with the distribution of food and supplies to the most remote areas of that locality in the country.
Through helicopters, military troops deliver the loads to the most distant towns and villages of that Aragonese population that suffered severe damage after the landslide that occurred last Saturday, October 8.
The information was released by the head of the FANB Strategic Operational Command (Ceofanb), Domingo Hernandez Larezwho through his account on the social network Twitter explained that the FANB is in “Las Tejerías divided into 23 sectors with 23 Commanders, to attend to the basic needs of the different towns and villages.”
The Head of Ceofanb stressed that, since the landslide occurred, the FANB troops have been deployed to attend house by house to all the families that were affected. “Nothing stops us from supporting our people. Inspecting house by house », he highlighted in that sense.
Hernández Lárez explained that the FANB in its commitment to comprehensively serve the town of Las Tejerías, launches loads with supplies from helicopters, to reach the most remote areas.

Sole authority in Las Tejerías
Given the recovery efforts of the town of Las Tejerías after the landslide, the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, requested this Tuesday that all the authority of Division General Juan Ernesto Sulbarán Quintero be obeyed, whom he appointed as the sole authority of that population. , to direct the actions of the Bolivarian Government of attention to the emergency zone.
“I ask all the political, civil, and military authorities to abide by the sole authority for Las Tejerías of G/D Juan Sulbarán Quintero from this moment, I envisage all power,” said the Head of State.
Landslide in Las Tejerías
After the landslide that occurred last weekend, as a result of the rains that fell in the country due to tropical storm number 42, the security forces and primary care personnel attend to those affected.
Until now, in Las Tejerías there are reports 43 deceased and 56 people missing as a result of the landslide.
Similarly, approximately 800 affected homes are registered, of which almost 400 houses suffered total losses.
