staff of the Bolivarian National Armed Force (FANB) seized 49 packages of dope with a weight of 13,750 kilograms. Two citizens were arrested for the incident, reported the head of the FANB Strategic Operational Command (Ceofanb), Domingo Hernández Lárez.
Through his account on the social network Twitter, Hernández Lárez explained that the marijuana wrappers were hidden in “14 electric stoves, 4 thermoses and 1 horn.”
Likewise, he specified that the two detainees intended to send the drug, through the Zoom parcel, to San Félix, in Bolívar state.
«During the review of parcels from the company Zoom in Edo. tachira, #FANB seized 49 packages of marijuana weighing 13,750 kg, hidden in 14 electric stoves, 4 thermoses and 1 horn, and the apprehension of 2 citizens who intended to send it to San Félix Edo Bolívar,” he published.
FANB in frontal combat against micro-trafficking
Similarly, the Chief of the Ceofanb confirmed that the FANB remains operational in frontal combat against micro-drug trafficking. For this, it remains deployed in strategic points of the country.
He reiterated that these customs are not from Venezuela, “we neither produce nor consume, report them,” he said.
“#FANB in frontal combat against micro-drug trafficking, in citizen security deployments through peace quadrants, providing protection and security to citizens. Those are not national customs, we neither produce nor consume, denounce them!” said Hernández Lárez.
