This Friday the installation of the Qualifying Board of the promotion process to the immediately higher grade corresponding to July 2023 was carried out.
The information was released by the Twitter account Prensa Comandante General of the Bolivarian National Guard (GNB), in which it is specified that the act of installation was led by the Minister for Defense, Vladimir Padrino López, at the headquarters of the Command of the GNB, in Caracas.

Likewise, the General Commander of the GNB, MG Juvenal Fernández López, through his Twitter account, highlighted the presence of Minister Padrino López at the headquarters of the GNB Command to start the Qualifying Board for promotions.

Evaluation process begins
Last Tuesday, Minister Vladimir Padrino López led the meeting that began the evaluation process for promotions in the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB).
On the social network Twitter, Padrino stressed that the qualifying process for promotions will be carried out “with criteria of transparency and objectivity. I will personally lead this task and ensure a fair process.”

Article 331 of the Bolivarian Constitution establishes that “military promotions are obtained by merit, rank and vacant position. They are the exclusive competence of the National Armed Forces and will be regulated by the respective law”.
During the process of evaluating the merits, love for the country, moral conditions, loyalty and sacrifices made in defense of national sovereignty are taken into consideration.
