The operations that are carried out in the cross-border axes of the country are carried out under the premise ordered by President Nicolás Maduro, of decreeing 2022 as the year 100% free of the Tancol
Members of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB), through the Cojedes Rapid Reaction Units (URRA), detected and destroyed an illegal marijuana plantation belonging to the Colombian Armed Drug Trafficking Terrorist groups (Tancol), in the state of Sucre, reported the head of the Strategic Operational Command of the FANB (Ceofanb), Domingo Hernández Lárez.
According to a message on his account on the social network Twitter, Hernández Lárez specified that this finding was after various “patrol operations in the Ribero municipality, Sucre state.”
On the other hand, URRA Mérida, deployed in the state of Sucre, carries out patrol tasks to locate and cut off terrorist activities by the Tancols, indicated Hernández Lárez.
Likewise, the Head of Ceofanb reported the destruction of a camp used by the Tancols to receive clandestine aircraft in the state of Amazonas.
In “Operation Autana” in the state of Amazonas, the FANB locates and destroys the Tancol camp dedicated to the logistical support of aircraft on clandestine runways, seizing and destroying 2,000 liters of Jet A-1 gasoline,” he explained.
The patrolling tasks of the FANB are carried out in compliance with the constitutional mandate, to guarantee the integrity of the geographical space, said Hernández Lárez.
The operations carried out in the cross-border axes of the country, by members of the FANB, are carried out under the premise ordered by the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, to decree 2022 as the year 100% free of the Tancol in the entire national territory.
