FANB activates to protect the country’s sovereignty

The FANB will continue to be active and in permanent deployment to put an end to illegal mining, human trafficking and drug trafficking practices.

The actions undertaken by the FANB on all the country’s borders respond to the instruction given by President Nicolás Maduro, who declared the year 2022 a free year for the Tancols. On that occasion, he ordered the Bolivarian National Armed Force (FANB) to free all the border areas of the country from these gangs.
