Sappers of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB) deactivated an explosive device placed by the criminal organization Las 3R, in the Sifontes municipality of Bolívar state.
The information was released by the head of the FANB Operational Command (Ceofanb), Domingo Hernández Lárez, through his account on the social network Twitter.
In this regard, Hernández Lárez explained that the device was made up of a gas cylinder, 20 kilograms of explosives, three Pentolite explosive charges, two electric detonators and 50 meters of cable.
«In the Bolívar state, Sifontes municipality, FANB sappers They deactivated an explosive device placed by the criminal organization Las 3R, consisting of 1 gas cylinder, 20 kg of explosives, 3 Pentolite explosive charges, 2 electric detonators and 50 meters of cable,” he posted on Twitter.
In this regard, the Chief of the Ceofanb reaffirmed that only the Venezuelan State is the only one to “possess and use weapons of war.”
In this sense, he added that any organization that has weapons of war will be legally intervened.
«Only the State will be able to possess and use weapons of war! The pseudo-organizations with weapons of war will be legally intervened, proportionally to the means used», he published.
FANB dismantles camps
On the other hand, the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB) located and dismantled seven tunnels and camps dedicated to illegal mining of gold resources, in Bolívar state.
This was reported by Hernández Lárez in his account on the social network Twitter, in which he indicated that in the tunnels, numerous weapons and machinery of the criminal group Las 3Rs.

The investigations began in parallel to Operation Roraima, aimed at dismantling groups dedicated to drug trafficking and illegal mining.
“All armed criminal organizations, associated with drug trafficking, murders, environmental destruction, human trafficking, explosives and arms trafficking, that operate in national territory, will be legally intervened and their structures dismantled and destroyed,” said the Chief of the Ceofanb on Twitter.
