The Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB) continues to be deployed in the jungles of Bolívar state, in search of organized crime that disrespects the territorial legal system in terms of illegal minery.
“Illegal mining camps and machinery will be destroyed. It is a citizen’s duty to protect nature as a guarantee of the future of humanity,” the FANB Strategic Operational Commander, Domingo Hernández Larez, said on Tuesday.
This is an operation deployed at the request of the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro.
“There is an intense battle, until we achieve the objective, battle thoroughly and all of Venezuela supporting”, said the Venezuelan president in recent days.
The operation has spread to other areas like the Amazonspecifically in the El Caura National Park through Operation Autana.
Larez also reported this Tuesday that an operation was carried out in Amazonas where units were deployed in the Caura National Park, to carry out environmental protection operations against illegal mining.
He affirmed that the work is carried out based on the CRBV, Article 127. It is a right and a duty of each generation to protect and maintain the environment for the benefit of itself and the future world. Every person has the right individually and collectively to enjoy a safe, healthy and ecologically balanced life and environment.
