Through a statement, parents of students from the Lambaré private school received notification from the MEC, about the measure of suspension of face-to-face classes for 15 days.
The measure will be in force from May 9 to 20, and affects students of Basic School Education and Middle Education, but not for the initial level. In this sense, classes will be held in virtual mode.
Said educational institution will continue to charge for the fees, however, the same discounts that were made during the virtual classes due to the pandemic will be applied, according to the document.
The suspension of school activities is to provide peace of mind to parents who are concerned about the students, in addition to the intervention that the Education portfolio will carry out.
For their part, the parents announced that from this Monday, May 9, they will close access to the school to demand a complete change of the board of directors.
According to the victim’s mother, the abuse occurred on April 26 in the school bathroom, which never reported the fact and even insinuates that it did not happen, according to the statement that aired yesterday.
