YPFB warned Argentina about the probability that it does not provide the agreed total of natural gas in 2024. The warning mobilized the authorities of the neighboring country, who are now considering how to speed up the consolidation of a gas pipeline so that the fuel arrives from the Vaca Muerta field and thus stop depending on Bolivia. The YPFB president responds optimistically that this company already knew this and that, if it does not sell gas to Argentina, it will do so to premium companies in Brazil. What is not reported is why Bolivian gas is increasingly scarce, why exploration work takes so long, and they are not honest that if Argentina is looking for a way to supply itself, it is because Bolivia no longer has the capacity to supply it. Hydrocarbons is a complex issue, but if 2+2 is added, the result will undoubtedly be 4.
