Executive observed the law that threatens Sunedu

President Pedro Castillo sent this Monday, May 30, official letter 158-2022 addressed to the president of Congress, María del Carmen Alva, observing the Autograph of the law that threatens and weakens the National Superintendence of Higher University Education (Sunedu).

One of the reasons stated for observing the Law Autograph is that it cannot work by leaving aside the Ministry of Education (Minedu).

“By withdrawing the stewardship of the Ministry of Education regarding the quality assurance policy of higher university education, leaving it headless, the Law Autograph is counterproductive for its implementation, since it is essential that there be a single strategy and a horizon clear regarding such a fundamental issue for the development of the country”, reads the document.
