The dome of the MAS-ala evista confirmed that meetings with the Third System Movement (MST) continue of former minister Félix Patzi and also with other forces that are willing to give up the acronym for the candidacy of Evo Morales in the elections next August, as confirmed by the leader Froilán Fulguera.
“There are different meetings that are taking place, not simply with them (the MST) but also with other political parties that more or less have similarity of thought and perhaps the same political ideology, so tomorrow (Wednesday) in this case, which is the day of the Plurinational State, we are going to see what progress there has been,” declared the Evista leader.
This Tuesday a ‘statement’ from Evism was published in which they make known the rapprochements that exist with Patzi’s MST in view of the general elections. Although the document was described as ‘speculation’, Froilán Fulguera said that it ‘was leaked’.
“Among the meetings that have been held, we must clarify that at the request of the Third System Movement (MTS), the aforementioned team carries out negotiations with this political organization as with othersin light of the highest democratic sense,” says the ‘leaked’ statement.

A few days later, in his Sunday program, he himself Evo Morales minimized that loss and he said that ‘the acronym is the least important thing’ and recalled that when he started in politics he did so with a borrowed acronym and he was a government with a gifted acronym, alluding to the case of the MAS and its owner.
“We are seeing that yes or yes we are going to participate in the 2025-2030 elections with our people, but, at the head of comrade Evo Morales, that is why we want to be very careful and responsible, and in due course, we will also make known what the perspective is,” added the leader.
He said that The first intention was to collect signatures and create a new partybut the purpose ‘could not be crystallized’ and therefore they opted for the alternative, looking for an acronym and for it to be the pivot to go to the elections.
