Ernesto Jiménez, «el Gurú»: «Si hoy Maduro no sale con votos, mañana saldrá con balas»

For the economist Ernesto Jimenez«The Guru“Venezuelans have an opportunity this Sunday to change the course of their nation with the presidential elections.

Jiménez, who is also a communicator, spoke on the Rumba FM program, where he stated that the reelection candidate, Nicolás Maduro, must leave power.

“If Maduro does not leave the Presidency today with votes, tomorrow he will leave with blood, with bullets”Jimenez said.

The economist said that Venezuela is in an “economic collapse”, the biggest in the region, a product of the policies implemented by Chavismo and the government of Ripe.

“Because of the charlatanry of politicians who stole everything from the people when everything was going well. And they led the people to seek a redeemer, who ended up stealing their freedom,” he said.

A light at the end of the tunnel

This Sunday, 11 years later, the opposition is once again united in a presidential election in which, despite the obstacles, it could defeat Chavismo, something it renounced in the 2018 elections because it considered that there were no fair conditions for a competitive election.

The elections in which the current president Nicolas Maduro will compete with Edmundo Gonzalez Urrutiacandidate of the Unitary Platform – which brings together the most important opposition parties – are the first in the last quarter of a century in which the opposition has enjoyed a clear advantage in the polls.
