Entrepreneurs from vulnerable neighborhoods will exhibit products at a large fair

A total of 228 entrepreneurs from the Ricardo Brugada neighborhood and the San Francisco Housing Complex were part of the “Strengthening Community Resilience in the presence of COVID-19” project, by Habitat for Humanity Paraguay and the United States Agency for Development International (USAID/Paraguay), will present their products at the EMPRENDE FAIR, to be held on April 30, at the Costanera de Asunción, starting at 2:00 p.m.

At this fair, more than one hundred entrepreneurs will have the opportunity to promote and market their products and services. In addition, the presence of renowned artists of the medium, a food fair, free medical care and much more is expected so that Asuncion families can spend a pleasant afternoon with totally free access.

Likewise, there will be an entertainment area for children, who will be able to enjoy the crazy balloon, various games, painted faces and many other activities. The meeting has the support of the Municipality of Asunción.

The EMPRENDE FERIA is held within the framework of the culmination of the Project to Strengthen Community Resilience in the presence of COVID-19 of Habitat for Humanity Paraguay, which had the technical and financial support of USAID/Paraguay.

The project began in 2020 with the aim of contributing to strengthening the socioeconomic resilience of 4 communities in Asunción: Chacarita Alta, San Felipe, Pelopincho and the San Francisco de Zeballos Cue Housing Complex, and we are extremely happy with the achievements that have been achieved. achieved through support for the development and strengthening of small businesses, especially those run by women heads of household, who represent 84% of the project participants.
