President Nicolás Maduro led the inauguration ceremony of Francisco de Miranda square in Vargas state. At the event, he highlighted the carnival holiday that the country experienced and asked his executive train to promote tourism until it reaches internationalization “so that it leaves us the talk that oil left us.”
The ruler Nicolás Maduro exempted entrepreneurs “duly registered” on the Emprender Juntos platform from paying for the procedures and permits for the operation and development of their brands.
The president said that it is necessary to support this sector with financing and public purchases so that “the new economy of enterprises” is strengthened.
The announcement was made this Wednesday, February 22, during the inauguration ceremony of the Francisco de Miranda square, in the state of Vargas, in which he was accompanied by the entity’s governor, José Alejandro Terán, the vice president, Delcy Rodríguez, and the deputy of the National Assembly of 2020 Nicolás Maduro Guerra.
Maduro highlighted the growth of the Emprender Juntos plan. He explained that 564,000 entrepreneurs are registered, of which 60% are women, and ordered the goal of one million entrepreneurs to be set by the end of the year.
He asked that the mechanisms destined to the attention and permanent support of the entrepreneurial activity in Venezuela be deepened.
Looking for talk in tourism

In terms of security, according to Padrón, Vargas was the entity that obtained positive responses with 99%, followed by Guárico and Falcón with more than 95%.
Asked about the strategies that Venezuela must follow to promote tourism and entrepreneurship, the vice president, Delcy Rodríguez, explained that “so far this year, public banks have reached financing of 25 million dollars. Rodríguez reiterated that recent carnivals have been “one of the best.” He specified that there was a 42% increase in the number of transactions, compared to that registered in 2022, reaching almost 113 million operations.
