Congressman Enrique Wong (Podemos Peru) announced that his bench will attend a meeting with the head of the Ministerial Cabinet, Aníbal Torres, at the headquarters of the Presidency of the Council of Ministers (PCM) this Thursday, February 17.
In dialogue with journalists after meeting with the president peter castle in the Government Palace, indicated that his parliamentary group does not have “nothing to hide” and that they have been invited to a work meeting by Torres Vásquez. He also announced that he will propose promoting economic development.
“Yes (he will come to the PCM to meet with the prime minister), we have nothing to hide. On Thursday we have been invited to exchange ideas. We are going to propose that all we have to do is economic development”he expressed.
Wong also pointed out that his bench will listen to Aníbal Torres’ presentation before deciding whether or not to give the vote of confidence to the Ministerial Cabinetalthough he reiterated the request to remove the Minister of Health from office, Hernan Condori.
“We believe that we are going to listen to him, analyze his proposals, I cannot hide that I have told the president to please evaluate the Minister of Health. He is a highly questioned person not only by the Medical Association, but also by the Medical Federation and the Faculties of Medicine and we cannot endanger the entire Council of Ministers for one person ”narrowed down
Finally, the parliamentarian remarked that the issue of the vote of confidence in the new cabinet was not discussed at the meeting with Castle Lumpsbut insisted on the need for both powers of the State to set aside the “confrontational atmosphere”.
“We have not touched on the subject (vote of confidence), but in a few words we have said that the country evolves in freedom and in peace.
