The National Institute of Educational Studies and Research Anísio Teixeira (Inep) published an ordinance that details the documents required to be presented by foreign Higher Education Institutions (IES) to request access to data and results of participants in the National High School Exam. Published in Official Diary of the Union today (9), the Ordinance No. 159 determines that requests made by foreign institutions (which have a Term of Adhesion with Inep) must be sent to the Institute’s Directorate of Basic Education Assessment (Daeb).
The ordinance provides that, among the documents, justification and ways of using the requested data and/or results must be included; indication of the responsible technician authorized to operate the system web of Inep, with full name, civil identification document with legal validity in the country of origin, email and institutional telephone; and the original Term of Confidentiality and Responsibility duly completed and signed by the institutional responsible.
It is also necessary to send copies of the act of investiture in the position and of the civil identification documents of the institutional responsible and the technical responsible person authorized to access the database.
The ordinance also has an attachment detailing how the protection of personal data submitted by Enem participants should be done.
The Enem is the largest entrance exam to higher education in the country. With the grades it is possible to compete for vacancies in public and private institutions throughout Brazil and also in foreign institutions.
