Gilberto Real, from the International Regional Organization for Agricultural Health (OIRSA) in Panama, explains about the State of Animal Health Emergency throughout the national territory, in the face of outbreaks of Livestock Screwworm.

“In recent years there has been an increase in cases on the border with Colombia, it reached Darién as far as Chepo, currently the plague has crossed and spread, cases are already known in Capira and Azuero, specifically in Ocú and that is why that the Animal Health alert was decreed throughout the national territory to redouble efforts and control this plague,” explained Real
