The National Health Service (SNS) reported that the Public Network Emergencies are ready to guarantee the assistance and comprehensive management of citizens who may present a health condition during the Christmas and New Year holidays.
The preparation actions include the activation of the Emergency and Disaster Committees, in addition to the implementation of plans at the Central Level, the Regional Health Services, Emergency and Emergency Regulatory Centers (CRUE) and health establishments, which define the prevention, response and rehabilitation activities in the Public Network.
Among the measures adopted is the reorganization of human resources to increase the staff in Emergencies and the authorization of expansion areas in view of the possible increase in patients.
Laboratory and imaging services were reinforced with the supply of supplies and reagents, and 24-hour shifts were also established.
Hospitals are kept supplied with the necessary supplies and medicines to respond to situations that may arise, as a result of the traditional mobilizations of the time.
Likewise, hospital security was strengthened to guarantee the integrity of both health and administrative personnel and users who attend the centers of the Public Network.
