In the first quarter of this year, Embraer had a net loss attributable to shareholders of R$ 170.7 million. The balance was released today (28) by the Brazilian aircraft manufacturer.
This amount is 65% lower than that recorded in the same period last year, when the company posted a loss of R$ 489.8 million.
Despite having been impacted by the one-month stoppage of its system due to the reintegration of commercial aviation systems, which took place in January, the company delivered 14 jets in the first three months of this year, six of which are commercial aircraft and eight executive jets.
Embraer’s net revenue was R$ 3 billion in the quarter, which represented a drop of 31% in relation to the first quarter of last year. The company ended the quarter with a total debt of R$ 16.8 billion, which represented R$ 5.6 billion less when compared to the fourth quarter of last year.
