Electricity and gas rates: of the 1.2 million registered to the RASE, 50 thousand could lose the subsidy

This Tuesday the Registration of Access to Energy Subsidies (RASE) ended for users whose DNI ends in 0,1 and 2, and according to data from the Ministry of Energy, 1,289,955 users completed the form so as not to lose the subsidy of the government.

Although the registration stage continues, according to preliminary data, of the total number of registered households, some 50,000 could lose support of the State, since with the new tariff segmentation it seeks to guarantee that the subsidy reach the most vulnerable families.

The segmentation of rates will be made according to the income level of the users.

According to the secretariat, 50,766 users would be part of the first segmentation group, that is, with higher incomewhich will be left without the subsidy and will pay the full rate.
