Electoral criminal jurisdiction lifted for David Ochy, allegedly involved in the New Business case

The Electoral Tribunal lifted the electoral criminal jurisdiction of businessman David Ochy, one of the alleged implicates in the “New Business” case, the decision was given through edict No. 6-2023-J1A.

Ochy maintained the electoral criminal jurisdiction because he was a candidate in the primary elections of the Realizando Metas party, which will be held on Sunday, June 4.

When the “New Business” hearing began, lawyers and witnesses were warned that they could not mention the name of David Ochy because he had jurisdiction.

Daniel Ochy and 13 other people are also allegedly implicated in this investigation, who are being investigated for alleged money laundering.

After the lifting of the jurisdiction, Ochy would be tried independently for which a new hearing date must be established and he must be called to trial.
