Electoral Chamber of the TSJ begins constitutional hearings with its new members

The Electoral Chamber of the Supreme Court of Justice (TSJ), began the constitutional hearings with its new members, selected by the National Assembly (AN) in the process of choosing magistrates of the TSJ, in order to guarantee citizens access to the justice, due process and procedural speed.

According to an institutional press release, the Electoral Chamber of the TSJ is made up of Judge Caryslia Beatriz Rodríguez Rodríguez, as its president, Judge Fanny Beatriz Márquez Cordero, as vice president, and is also made up of Judge Inocencio Antonio Figueroa Arizaleta.

The powers of this Chamber of the Supreme Court of the country are contemplated in article 27 of the Organic Law of Reform of the Organic Law of the Supreme Court of Justice, published in the Official Gazette No. 6,684 Extraordinary of January 19, 2022.
