Urban music singer El Micha launches his new album this Friday for the worlda work produced by Emilio Estefan that fuses rhythms from salsa to afrobeat, as reported in a statement.
The new album had a preview on May 12 with the release of “Salsa”, the first single from this album that has a clear influence “of Afro music and a sound world that promises to surprise his followers”.
Michael Fernando Sierra, artistically known as El Micha, has already collaborated with artists such as Wisin, Farruko, Enrique Iglesias, Daddy Yankee, Zion & Lennox and J Álvarez, among others.
He has been nominated for Premios Lo Nuestro, Premios Tu Música Urbano and Premios Juventud.
The album, produced by his countryman Emilio Estefan, is a “testimony of El Micha’s ability to evolve and experiment with his music, while maintaining his essence and unique style,” according to the statement.
The song “Salsa”, released along with a video clip, has received praise from his followers.
El Micha begins that song by mentioning several of the main artists who have interpreted this genre, such as Óscar d’León, Marc Anthony, La India or Willy Colón.
The new project by El Micha and Emilio Estefan promises to be “one of the most outstanding of the artist’s career” and an example “of his commitment to his music and his ability to experiment with new rhythms,” the statement underlines.

Emilio Estefan was recently responsible for producing the theme for the celebration of the 25th anniversary of the television program “El Gordo y La Flaca” on the network Univision and also El Micha was in charge of interpreting it on that occasion.
El Micha, born in Havana in 1981, participated in 2016 in the song “Red Alert” by Daddy Yankee along with Nicky Jam, J Balvin, Farruko, Arcángel and Zion, a collaboration that gave visibility to his career.
