“After a final evaluation over the weekend, the Ineos Grenadiers medical team has cleared the Colombian to return to competition,” the British cycling team said in a statement.
The Tour of Denmark will run between August 16 and 20 and will be the competition on European soil that will coincide with the start of the Tour of Spain 2022. The competition on Danish soil was won in the last edition by the local runner, Mads Pedersen.
For now, there is no clarity on what the bet of the English squad will be with the Colombian. Egan could have a recessive role, considering that it will be his first official appearance since his accident.
