“The Ministry of Education has taken an instructive to the departmental addresses so that they can make a sectoral and regional evaluation, depending on the respiratory infections that affect and the reports of the venues of each department, in an articulated manner with departmental and district addresses, to be able to make more flexible, to be able to change the modality and to have the corresponding tolerance,” said Omar Véliz, Minister of Education, this Thursday.
It is known that the instruction was already issued at the nine departmental addresses, so that they make an evaluation with the data that have their respective departmental health services (headquarters).
In Santa Cruz
On Tuesday, 14 deaths were confirmed due to influenza in Santa Cruz, while there are six other suspicious deaths, in the middle of an alarming increase in infections. That is why the red health alert was issued from the Headquarters.
Also, from the venues indicated that 1,378 positive cases of influenza, of a total of 5,000 suspects were reported. The 14 confirmed deaths have been verified by the Epidemiology Committee, while the other six deaths remain under investigation, to determine if they are linked to the disease.
