The Copa América women’s soccer started in style this Friday (8), with a 6-1 rout of Ecuador over Bolivia at the Pascual Guerrero stadium, in Cali (Colombia), for Group A of the competition.

The triumph of the Ecuadorian team was built with goals from Danna Pesantes, Marthina Aguirre, Giannina Lattanzio, Joselyn Espinales and Nayely Bolaños (two). Erika Salvatierra scored for the Bolivian team.
Brazil is in Group B of the competition, alongside Argentina, Peru, Uruguay and Venezuela. The canarinho team starts at 21:00 (Brasilia time) next Saturday (9) against the Albiceleste team at the Centenario stadium, in the town of Armenia.
