Unanimously, the Constitutional Court (TC) declared that the requirement that evaluated the constitutionality of the TPP11 is inadmissible because it was submitted after the deadline.
Said requirement was presented on October 19 by Senator Karin Bianchi, who initially could not collect the 13 signatures that were needed from the Senate, but did obtain the 42 necessary signatures in the Chamber of Deputies.
However, one aspect that was ignored or not considered is that the vote in the Senate was approved on October 12, so, according to the regulations required by the TC, the term to present a request is five calendar days. and not five business days.
With this sentence, the next step to which the Government has committed itself will be to formalize the TPP11 before the end of the year.
