Innovation and Industrial Entrepreneurship fair concludes in Santiago

The fourth version of the fair of Innovation and Industrial Entrepreneurship was rated as the assembly that has had the greatest components technological of the four editions that have been organized.

Within the framework of the event, held for three days in the gardens of the Gran Teatro del Cibao, in Santiago de los Caballeros, by the Center for Industrial Development and Competitiveness (Proindustria), students from different polytechnics in the Heart City demonstrated their skills in robotics.

Likewise, they presented a system on immigration control, using the intelligence artificial for its creation.

Other innovative proposals stand out, such as the creation of turbines for thermal measurement of different materials that are used in construction, a project that uses the algae marine for the creation of biostimulants for agriculture, platforms digital for the optimization of industrial processes, among other initiatives.

Rafael –Papito- Cruz, director of the Center for Industrial Development and Competitiveness, highlighted that each of these proposals contributed to the success achieved by the exhibition.

He highlighted that many of these creations represent solutions for the industry and common problems in society.

From the institution he directs, he promised to continue betting on innovation and the competitiveness.

“For us to be able to enter a competitive market, to be able to increase exportsgenerate more jobs and bet on the future we must continue to be the main godfather and promoter of these young people, who become entrepreneurs seeing further than what others see,” Cruz said.

He reported that through the support department of Proindustria They will accompany the polytechnic students, supporting them in whatever they need, to turn each of these exposed projects into reality.

For her part, the provincial director of the Ministry of Education, Marieta Díaz, thanked the students for the opportunity to present their creations.

“The boys from the polytechnics have always carried out great projects, but they left it within the schools to themselves. Now they have become known worldwide with patents after participating in the 2023 version of the fair“said Díaz.
