Driver who moved his car with a staple was drunk;  his license was revoked for a year

He was drunk and didn’t realize it. The driver who was recorded moving his vehicle immobilized with a staplewill be sanctioned with a year without driving, as reported on Wednesday by the Bolivian Police.

The motorized had a staple in one of its rear tires, but that did not prevent its owner from trying to continue on his way, leaving an image that resembles the episode of the ninth season of ‘The Simpsons’ in which Homer flees from New York.

Data provided by the Director of Traffic of El Alto, Julio Larrea, indicate that the driver was identified as Elías ERL, 45 years oldand the motorized one is a radiotaxi of Toyota brand.

The driver parked in a prohibited place, which is why he will also have to pay a fine of 50 bolivianos. He managed to advance 10 meters before being stopped by the Police and the staple did not suffer any damage..
