The Federal Public Defender’s Office (DPU) is holding a joint effort today (28) to serve the population of the Federal District. From 1:30 pm to 6:00 pm, the agency will provide free legal assistance at the Na Hora da Rodoviária station in Plano Piloto. DPU makes legal assistance task force at the DF bus station

People with a family income of up to BRL 2,000 and who need to resolve cases involving social security issues and civil federal demands, such as benefits from the National Institute of Social Security (INSS), payment of Brazil and Emergency aid, financing student access and access to high-cost medication.

To be served on site, the citizen must bring personal documents (CPF, RG, proof of residence and income), in addition to documents about the case he intends to resolve. 120 passwords will be made available to the population.

The task force has the support of the Department of Justice and Citizenship (Sejus) of the Federal District.
