Lau regretted this human loss and ordered the audit to determine responsibilities and find out what really happened.
He indicated that in a preliminary way, he is aware that the patient had previously presented two cardiorespiratory arrests and that she had received a resuscitation procedure.
“When the person enters that phase of repeated cardiovascular arrest, the condition deteriorates,” said the director of the entity.
In addition, the patient was detected Covid-19, therefore, knowing this, an epidemiological action must be carried out by swabbing the family, all the contacts and the health personnel who attended her.
