The Distribuz Group, made up of public electricity marketing and distribution companies, announced that in the next decade it plans to invest S/5,000 million, of which S/1,000 million will be used in the next three years, for projects in 11 regions from the country.

There are four state companies that make up this group, including Electronoroeste, Electronorte, Hidrandina and Electrocentro, which cover the regions of Tumbes, Piura, Cajamarca, Lambayeque, La Libertad, Áncash, Huánuco, Pasco, Junín, Huancavelica and Ayacucho.

In this regard, the president of the group, Arturo Vásquez, reported that in the last five years they have connected 450,000 users and that starting next year they expect to grow at a rate of 7%.
