Elio Estrada Paredes, director of the PNB, said that the officials who killed the 23-year-old in Puente Hierro acted personally, since he assures that they are not the values ​​and principles that are promoted in that security body.


The director of the Bolivarian National Police (PNB), Elio Estrada Paredes, dissociated himself from the events in which three agents of that security body incurred on Thursday, May 11 in Puente Hierro, when they murdered the 23-year-old young man and student of pilot, Nicolas Fermin.

Estrada Paredes assured, according to Last Newsthat those uniformed men from the PNB acted “in a very personal way” and that they are not in tune with the values ​​that the institution promulgates.

“These very personal actions carried out by these former officials, who, while in civilian clothes and on duty, do not express the will or feelings of all the officials who are members of the Bolivarian National Police Corps whose mission is and will be to Protect, Defend and Serve the our People”, wrote Estrada Paredes on social networks.

He recalled that two of the three PNB officials were arrested, who were left under the orders of the courts to assume their responsibilities.

In the morning hours of Thursday, May 11, PNB officials murdered 23-year-old Nicolás Fermín, who was working as a taxi driver with a friend’s Ridery store, in the Las Flores sector of Puente Hierro, in Caracas.

Fermín was paying for his flight hours to become a commercial pilot.

Due to the incident, two agents of the security body who respond to the names of Freides Camacho and Damian Ortiz, who have already been accused by the police, were arrested. prosecution for the alleged commission of the crimes of qualified homicide for futile motives, improper use of a firearm and omission of assistance.

There is still a third official to be identified and arrested who, according to the witnesses who were present at the time of Fermín’s murder in Puente Hierro, was present.

Daniel Fermín, father of the victim, demanded in the Union Radio Circuit that justice be done in the case of his son and expresses that he still wants to give a “vote of confidence” to the Venezuelan justice system.

He stressed that he will give everything until his son’s case does not go unpunished.

“I will spend every last resort, even if I have to ask for money on the street, but I will take care that the actors in this fall under the full weight of the Law,” he emphasized.
