Doctors Priena Almonte and Robinson Santos, this last director of Cabinet of the Ministry of Public Health, are being interrogated by the Department of Counterfeiting and Special Investigations of the Public Ministry of Santiago de los Caballeros.
The physicians were required “in order to be heard in relation to an investigation carried out by this department,” says the summons that has been circulating since Tuesday.
Public Ministry sources affirmed that both doctors are being investigated for a private matter that has nothing to do with public functions.
“Gossip among doctors, now with the issue of social networks,” said one of the sources consulted.
Santos and Almonte were summoned for 9:00 in the morning of this Wednesday, to which they attended.
Santos was named in March of this year to replace Robinson Díaz, who resigned.
