In full swing of the high-impact entrepreneurial system, the executive director of Endeavor Uruguay, Analía Migues, assures that Uruguay is already an innovation hub

The technology company Globant acquired Genexus, the metaverse leader The Sandbox did the same with the local firm Cualit. These are just two examples in the last three months of great powers arriving in Uruguay and elevating the local entrepreneurial ecosystem that attracts more and more attention. Within this framework, Endeavor has been working for 25 years to accelerate high-impact ventures –such as OrdenesYa, Tiendamia or D-Local– so that they reach their maximum potential. Its executive director, Analía Migues, assures “flatly” that there will be more Uruguayan unicorns – companies whose value exceeds US$ 1,000 million. In this context, the executive anticipated what can be expected from the ecosystem for 2022. Below is a fragment of the interview she had with Café & Negocios.
