Director of Customs responds to YouTuber’s complaint about theft in Punta Cana

The General Director of Customs, Eduardo Sanz Lovatón, responded to the complaint made by the Spanish youtuber Jordi Wild, who narrated through his channel a jewelry theft from his mother at the Punta Cana airport.

Lovantón said about the complaint that the agency he directs does not open the luggage of those who arrive or leave the country through the country’s airports.

“Important clarifying. @aduanard, does not open suitcases or check them without the presence of the passenger. The passenger takes his/her luggage from the straps provided for it and then he/she takes it to the customs agents. Reason why if something is missing, the responsibility is prior, ”says the message posted by Sanz Lovatón through his Twitter account.

In the video that has more than 230 thousand reproductions, the Spanish youtuber indicates that among the objects stolen from his mother are garments valued at about 5,000 euros and a device to take the blood pressure of his father who also accompanied them.

Jordi Wild is a famous Spanish youtuber. He has worldwide recognition and is positioned as one of the most listened to podcasts in Spanish. His YouTube channel has 3.15 million followers and amassed over 1 billion views.

The episodes of his podcast are also broadcast on Spotify, Apple Music and Ivoox and he is in the top three of the most listened to podcasts in Spain. Nope
