Diosdado Cabello: Venezuela is the house of dialogue

The first vice president of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello, reiterated this Monday that the dialogue is a great victory for the Revolution, since it has been promoted by the Venezuelan government.

“There is no address in which the President does not call for dialogue and some still do not want to recognize it, one of them is the ecclesiastical sector of the country,” he said.

He recalled that Venezuela was not the one who kicked off the dialogue table in Mexico, but rather the United States. “Given that, we set a position that is still firm, we will not sit down again until the conditions are agreed upon,” he said.

Cabello explained that the dialogue is a revolutionary proposal that is not yet recognized by some sectors.

“When you listen to Juanito Alimaña saying that we are ready for dialogue in Mexico, he is talking about gamelote,” he said, referring to what Juan Guaidó says at the negotiating table.

“The Summit of the Americas makes no sense”

Regarding the Summit of the Americas, Cabello pointed out that there is no reason for Cuba, Nicaragua and Venezuela to be excluded by the US as host of the Summit.

“If they are not present, that will be part of the debate. It is America exercising its arrogance, only with whom they feel comfortable, only with whom they do not confront them, “he said.

Likewise, he referred to Colombia after the pronouncement of the presidential candidate Gustavo Petro to resume relations with Venezuela if elected, Cabello stressed that “hopefully they will not assassinate him, that the narco-government of Iván Duque will not assassinate him.”

“Their position is logical, we are neighbors, how are they going to see the one next to them as an enemy? Colombia has become the neighbor that nobody wants. It will be up to those who come to try to accommodate the life of Colombian men and women », he said.
