The first vice president of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello, during the installation ceremony of the 2023 National Youth Congress, asked the youth of the party to do their best and not fall into temptations or traps, as well as He urged them not to fall into corruption.
“We must be able to ensure that our young people do not have the vices that they have seen, such as bureaucracy, influence peddling, corruption. You are prohibited from failing the homeland, ”he sentenced from the Ali Primera park, located in Catia, where the activities of the JPSUV 2023 Congress take place.
Cabello exalted the political importance they have as young people to be able to participate, “have a vote” within the party. “Thanks to Chávez and thanks to this revolution you are protagonists, you have a voice and a vote, you have the power to make decisions,” he stressed.
He reminded them that 40 years ago more than 11,300 young people were murdered and disappeared, of whom three thousand “still have not appeared.” “The young man was left no other alternative to express his opinion than to go to the guerrilla, that’s where Ali’s songs come from; that’s where all the history of youth comes from, some of us survived under circumstances that life put us”.
He insisted on the importance of the responsibility that they have as guarantors of the future of the next generations in the work of creating the Great Venezuela Youth Mission.
“When the president (Maduro) announces the creation of the Great Mission, it must be with a concrete proposal. It must be tangible, viable, we must find ways to work for this country. what is going to materialize, what is going to be changed and you have that task. It would look very ugly for the party council to carry the proposals of the youth of the party, ”he said.
He also urged young people to strengthen networks, work groups “not only from a chat, by WhatsApp, for which he called on young people to build networks again, not only digital, but with face-to-face strategies “We must recover the embrace brotherly, of the fight”, he said.
The main task is planning and organization
In the opinion of the vice president of organization of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Pedro Infante, the youth within the party have planning, organization and mobilization as their primary task.
During the installation day of the Venezuelan Youth Congress in Caracas, Infante, like Cabello, insisted to the young people on the need to participate with ideas and concrete projects in the construction of the Great Venezuela Youth Mission.
“Do all this to be happy, the main right that the youth have for which this Great Venezuela Youth Mission must be organized, is to preserve the right to happiness, the right to the future, the right to dream, the right to hope ”, he expressed.
In addition, he indicated that all young people from various sectors are welcome to consolidate the Great Venezuela Youth Mission,
“Here there are youth from all over Venezuela, from the entire country, even, there may be a young person here or a young person who does not agree with Chavismo. Well, it is also welcome, and welcome”.
Infante noted that the Great Mission Youth Venezuela calls to organize young people based on the collective interest in culture, sports and other areas.
For her part, the vice president of regional and municipal affairs of the PSUV, Carmen Meléndez, highlighted to the young people the importance of discipline to achieve the objectives, which meant the importance of the civic-military union consolidated by the Bolivarian revolution.
The Youth Congress will be held until this Tuesday, March 14, when its conclusions will be given, to raise the agenda of the Great Youth Mission.
