The First Vice President of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Deputy Diosdado Cabello, rejected the recent acts of physical violence that have been carried out against minors in the country and considered it necessary to apply the law severely in these cases.
“The law has to be absolutely intransigent with any act of rape, abuse or murder of a child, you have to be very severe to punish this, this has to be stopped once and for all,” he emphasized during the broadcast of his program Con el Mazo Dando .
The also president of the Commission for the Judicial Revolution called attention to the recurrence of these actions.
“It’s not for Venezuelans”
“Lately we have seen many acts of violence against boys and girls, which must be condemned by all Venezuelans and Venezuelans, relatives rape children, murder them, mistreat them, have them tied up in their homes, something is happening because that It does not belong to Venezuela,” he pointed out and recalled that as part of the actions to promote humane treatment for infants with some condition or disability, the Venezuelan government created the José Gregorio Hernández Mission.
“… here in Venezuela it was a custom years ago, someone who is from the town knows that, for example, where there was a boy with some condition, they would not let him leave the house, they would lock him up, that began to be reversed when Commander Chávez arrived and he began to open up the spaces and that José Gregorio Hernández Mission arrived, where we went around Venezuela looking for children with conditions to be cared for”, he highlighted.
pronouncement of all
He insisted on the need to guarantee the protection of Venezuelan children in the face of these acts that he described as “cowardly”, while questioning the silence of political and religious sectors of the country.
“We would like to see those who speak a lot of nonsense take a more frontal position against it,” he said, stressing that those who commit acts of violence against children “do not deserve anyone’s forgiveness.”
