Binedell, president of Sherritt International, a prestigious Canadian company in the mining and oil sector.
During the cordial exchange, held at the Palace of the Revolution, both parties discussed the potentialities that exist for, even in the midst of the intensification of the United States blockade, deepening the participation of this company in the economic development of Cuba, especially in activities such as mining, oil prospecting and power generation.
The deputy prime minister and Commander of the Revolution, Ramiro Valdés Menéndez; as well as the ministers of Foreign Trade and Foreign Investment, and of Energy and Mines, Rodrigo Malmierca Díaz and Liván Arronte Cruz, respectively.
