The Federal District began today (16) to apply the fourth dose of the vaccine against covid-19 in people aged 40 or over. The information was announced by Governor Ibaneis Rocha on social media.
The places where the vaccines are being applied can be consulted at DF Health Department page on the internet.
Until then, the second booster dose, or fourth vaccine dose, was available to people aged 50 and over, in addition to health professionals. So far, just over 232,000 people have taken their fourth dose in the nation’s capital.
According to the guidance of the Ministry of Health, vaccines against covid-19 and against influenza can be applied simultaneously, in the same visit to the health post. The annual flu immunization campaign remains in effect in the Federal District.
