Deputy Marco Aurelio Quiñones warned that if the company were under the control of Nicolás Maduro, “he would have already lost it, not only because of irresponsible management and the number of lawsuits against him, but because of the shady dealings that have held in the national treasury
“Today Citgo is not only protected, but it is giving dividends to the nation that it urgently needs, compared to what has been the blood of the public treasury,” said deputy Marco Aurelio Quiñones, this Monday, August 15, when considering that the interim government of Juan Guaidó has carried out a “protection management”.
Quiñones, on behalf of the National Assembly elected in 2015, stressed that “thanks to the hard work of the interim government together with the international community” the nation’s assets abroad have been protected.
“Today we can say that this Citgo company presents good news for the country, thanks to the protection, which in the future will serve as a mattress to reactivate the Venezuela that we all want,” he said.
The parliamentarian warned that if the company were under the control of Nicolás Maduro, “he would have already lost it, not only due to irresponsibility in management and the number of lawsuits against him, but also because of the shady management they have had in the national treasury”.
Quiñones reiterated that the “dictatorship of Maduro finished with PDVSA” as evidenced by the low production of the oil industry and the number of procedural errors that as a consequence fail to produce a million barrels of oil.
