The interbloc of national deputies of Together for Change (JxC) analyzes the possibility of delegating its leadership to a triumvirate of representatives of the UCR, the Pro and the Civic Coalition (CC) to replace Mario Negri, in the definition of a resolution which has been postponed since last December due to differences within the space, parliamentary sources said today.
The Driving Triumvirate, If it materializes, it would be made up of Negri himself, the head of the PRO bloc, Cristian Ritondo, and the head of the Civic Coalition caucus, Juan López, while representatives of the other seven blocks that make up JxC would orbit around this trio, add the informants.
The formation of the collegiate table would serve to circumvent some internal vetoes that weigh on some of these figures in their natural aspirations to be the heads of the interbloc.
The Civic Coalition maintains its rejection of the figure of Ritondoexpressed repeatedly by the leader of the space, Elisa Carrió, even when JxC governed the country and the province of Buenos Aires.
As for Negri, the objection is motorized by the deputies of the Radical Evolution bloc (the sector of senator Martín Lousteau), who just in December moved away from the UCR bloc with the argument that it was necessary to renew the faces of radicalism, a consideration that had the former candidate for governor from Córdoba as its main recipient.
Beyond the meeting called for this Friday by the authorities of the National Committee of the UCR in which both sectors of radicalism will converge, parliamentary sources indicated that “For now, the possibility of reunifying the bloc is remote.
Against this possibility of a triumvirate being formed, a nucleus of PRO deputies is maintained, who insist that the leadership should be for one of their own, given the majority representation they have in Together for Change.
Of the 116 deputies that make up the main opposition front, 50 belong to the PRO, 33 to the UCR, 12 to Evolución, 11 to the Civic Coalition, 4 to the Federal Meeting, 2 to Production and Labor, and the United Republican monoblocs, Avanzar San Luis , I believe and now Homeland.
