“We will work open doors. We are not here to confront: we are going to work with the FDT”Ricardo Buryaile

Likewise, Buryaile highlighted the work carried out by INTA and SENASA, stating that they are “two organizations of excellence that our country has”, while pointing out the need to “improve the situation of the sector, agree on a long-term policy and not short-term solutions”.

In another order, Buryaile announced that together with the authorities they will collect all the projects that have the commission as their head to put together the agenda to be discussed in the coming weeks.

Later, the Population Commission was established, where the national deputy Camila Crescimbeni (PRO) was elected, as Verónica Caliva (Frente de Todos-Salta) as first vice president and Pamela Verasay (PRO) as second vice president, while as secretaries Marcela Antola (Radical Evolution), Lis Marín (FDT-La Pampa) were appointed.

After taking office, Crescimbeni proposed to summon the head of Indec, Marco Lavagna, to the next meeting of that commission, next Wednesday at 9:30, to explain the scope of the 2022 Census: “He has promised to come as soon as the commission, so we are going to make that request as soon as possible,” said the deputy.

Then, it was the turn of the constitution of the Natural Resources commission, where the deputy of the Frente de Todos, Leonardo Grosso, was elected, who will continue to head that parliamentary body, while the first vice-presidency remained for Martín Berhongaray (UCR- La Pampa) and the second for María Cristina Brítez (Frente de Todos-Misiones).

Camila Crescimbeni (PRO), Natalia Zaracho (Frente de Todos-Frente Patria Grande) and Ximena García (UCR-Santa Fe) were appointed as secretaries.

In her turn, from the Federal Interbloc, Graciela Camaño lamented the lack of debate on the Wetlands Law, arguing that “we are a disgrace in environmental issues”

At the end of the meeting, Grosso – who proposed that the commission meet on Tuesdays at 2:30 p.m. – highlighted the importance of “building cross-cutting agreements has made it possible to deal with fundamental issues” and put the debate on the Wetlands Law, among other issues.

“We have to be able to resolve disagreements, the right to water is an open agenda that we have to work on, amalgamate among all of us in order to reach agreements that allow us to respond to the demands of our people and of humanity,” Grosso asserted.

In her turn, from the Federal Interbloc, Graciela Camaño lamented the lack of debate on the Wetlands Law, stating that “we are a disgrace in environmental issues” and stressed that the strategy to move forward should be to discuss the issue in a joint meeting. with the other commissions, “otherwise we are not going to have a wetland law again.”

In that same sense, from the radicalism, the pampas Martín Berhongaray, said that in this matter “the technical is mixed with the political”.

For this Thursday, the formation of the Social Action and Public Health commissions is pending, where the socialist Mónica Fein will be appointed, and Public Works, where the Santiago official Daniel Brue will be proposed.
