The senator of this group, Miguel Uribe Turbay, assured that the government wants the reform to be approved without debate in Congress. The paper was filed this Tuesday afternoon by Uribe Turbay and the representative to the Chamber Óscar Darío Pérez.
“This greater collection in current income corresponds mostly to the fight against evasion and corruption of an additional 22 billion pesos for August, and it is forecast that the year will close with 26 billion pesos. To this are added the income that was not calculated in the mining and hydrocarbon sectors and that add up to more than 30 billion pesos“, comment the uribistas.

From said party it has been mentioned that the project of reform increases povertydrives away investment, impoverishes the middle class, hits low-income households, and “introduces a fatal old-age tax.”
They also maintain that the reform has a damaging effect on the progress and economic growth of the country. Also that affects Colombian households.
For his part, Uribe Turbay said: “Only until this Wednesday will we know it officially and even so they intend to vote on it completely on Thursday without listening to the community, without hearing the impact, without giving public debate.”
