The Mayor of Caracas delivered a total of 35 sewing machines to the same number of mothers in the Venezuelan capital, reported Mayor A/J Carmen Melendez, in statements offered this May 7 before the media.
“We are meeting with 35 Caracas mothers from different parishes who have given us a letter in various meetings requesting the support of a sewing machine,” he said.
The mayor indicated that “now those who made garments totally at hand they have this new tool to consolidate their ventures and be part of different projects in their communities».
In addition, he reported that “women seamstresses who wish to expand their businesses may apply to the Municipal Institute of Popular Credit, where they will be assisted and oriented”:
