According to the note, on Monday (6th) the Navy sent a Search and Rescue (SAR) team from the Tabatinga River Captaincy to the scene and soldiers traveled the Javari, Itaquaí and Ituí rivers, in the interior of the state of Amazonas, with a speedboat. This Tuesday, in addition to these teams, a helicopter, boats and a watercraft were used in the search.

The ministry informed that since yesterday, the Army has used around 150 military specialists in operations in the jungle environment, who know the terrain where the searches are carried out. “In addition, the Ground Force will support the Federal Police with the use of a helicopter, adding mobility to interagency actions”, says the note.
