For candidates who want to be identified by their social name and who do not have that name registered with the IRS, Inep advises that the request for treatment be made after registration, in the period from 23 to June 28through the Participant’s Page.
For this procedure, it will be necessary to present a list of documents proving the conditions that motivate it: current, clear, individual, colored photo, with a white background that fits from the head to the shoulders, full face, without the use of sunglasses and articles headgear (cap, hat, visor, cap or similar); and a scanned copy, front and back, of one of the valid official photo identification documents. Documents submitted after the deadline or external to the Participant’s Page will not be accepted. All documentation must be attached and sent in PDF, PNG or JPG format, with a maximum size of 2 MB.

The National High School Exam assesses students’ school performance at the end of basic education. Over more than two decades of existence, it has become one of the main gateways to higher education in Brazil, through the Unified Selection System (Sisu) and initiatives such as the University for All Program (ProUni). Public and private educational institutions use Enem to select students.
The results are used as a sole or complementary criterion for the selection processes, in addition to serving as a parameter for accessing government aid, such as the Student Financing Fund (FIES).
